Podcasts?

When I go out for bike rides to pick up my mail, or various other in town errands, I like to listen to podcasts. Either I have already listened to the ones worth listening to, or I am just not looking in the right place. Are there any recommended podcasts?

I have already listened to all of the Nobody Cares About Your Stupid Zine and ZINECORE Radio podcasts. Are there any more?

 

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks :-)

not sure if you're looking specifically for zine-related podcasts, or podcasts in general, but i've got some good comedy recommendations as someone who has been an avid listener of podcasts since terrestrial talk radio took a rapid decline.

my favorite podcast is WTF with Marc Maron. if you like what's been dubbed "alternative comedy" then it's likely that you'll take a liking to him. it's my understanding that this podcast has recently been picked up by NPR, and will be airing sometime in autumn. for now, it's available on iTunes.

the adam carolla podcast and the greg fitzsimmons podcast are great, and so is The Smartest Man in the World podcast, which is hosted by greg proops.

The Moth podcast is one of my favorites. The episodes vary in length, anywhere from ten minutes to an hour.

Im glad someone beat me to the punch of posting this thread i feel the absolute same way,through the hiatus of Zinecore radio and Nobody cares about your stupid zine i have nothing to quench my auditory zine thirst :(.

I don't know of any other zine-related podcasts, but my two favorites are both comedy: the Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick, Jonah Ray and Matt Mira, and the Pod F. Tompkast by Paul F. Tompkins. I get em both through iTunes but here are the sites:

WTF with Marc Maron's not bad either as Brian recommended, and you can get some pretty good Radio Labs and This American Life, etc. if you're into NPR.
