The following information about a new music store in Adelaide - being operated by former Big Star employee Matt “Footy” Horvath - may be of interest to you.

CLARITY RECORDS NEEDS YOUR HELP

CLARITY RECORDS is a new Independent music store opening in the Adelaide CBD. There is currently a huge hole in the Adelaide independent music industry because of the closure of many of the music stores; leaving little to no options for local bands to sell their music, buyers to buy local artists and places to buy rare releases. Due to these events, CLARITY RECORDS was created.

CLARITY RECORDS is located on 60 PULTENEY ST, ADELAIDE 5000 and is opening its doors on Friday April 16^th. We have placed orders across the board with suppliers however there are a lot of items that suppliers do not stock. Therefore this is a call out to all bands, labels, distributors, artists, writers - WE WANT YOUR STOCK! Whatever it may be, whether it is new or second hand, CD or Vinyl, T-Shirt or other Merchandise, we want to know what you have. We also want to display and sell handmade art, crafts, jewellery and giftware. On a general basis we will be dealing on consignment, however we are open to alternative options.

Here is a list of items we are after:

Your band(s) CDs, Vinyl, DVDs, Tapes, etc.

Your label(s) releases on all formats

Music items you distribute

Merchandise including T-shirts, hoods, badges, patches, etc.

Zines

Art and Craft by local and interstate artists (upon approval, consignment)

Second hand Vinyl (all genres)

Second hand CDs (no scratches)

Skate decks, wheels, trucks, etc. (please contact us if you think you are able to help us out with these items)

Please send enquires, information and stock to sell as soon as possible so we can process it and have it on the shelf before the opening date.
