Permalink Reply by Tiffany Daniels on March 4, 2011 at 1:04pm Drunkenwerewolf Issue 16 out now!
Following our successful design relaunch at the beginning of the year, Issue 16's front cover sports an amazing illustration of Jeffrey Lewis by Anneke Koster. Anneke's contributed to, helped with and encouraged DrunkenWerewolf from the very beginning; it's about time we gave her a big round of applause for her efforts! HERE, HERE.
In terms of content, we caught up with the anti-folk icon preceding his recent Bristol gig with Peter Stampfel. In a brief but enthralling interview Lewis talks about performing with his idol and digitalising his comic books. Elsewhere we chat to Birmingham favourites Johnny Foreigner, folk darlings Jonny Kearney and Lucy Farrell and the extremely talented Rose Dagul of Rhosyn. Representing noise makers everywhere, we have an overdue talk with The Hysterical Injury, and True Womanhood explain exactly how they've recorded a song in a sewer. Finally Elton Townend-Jones continues his journey into the depths of his DVD collection, and Matt Finney discusses the importance of Raymond Carver. As though we needed telling!
If you live in Britain, all of the above can be yours for a measly £2. Don't worry if you live abroad - we'll send it to you for £3. Click here - http://drunkenwerewolf.livejournal.com/173911.html - to get a copy!

Shards of My Reality is my first ever perzine, and I thought I would kick it off with a Hello to the Zine Scene at large. :)
It includes some of my artwork, comics, some information about me and who I am, ect. ect. including a SUPRISE ENDING (I say suprise, because something exciting happened while I was still working on this zine that was a suprise to me, and I end off the zine by mentioning what "it" was :D)
Future issues of Shards of My Reality will be less scattered and more serious subject matter, but I thought Id just introduce myself first, so here you go.
24 pages, half sized.
3.00$ or trade

(38 pages, black & white, 1/4 size)
This issue is something of a continuation from the previous one; I am still unhappy with my living situation and still trying my best to some to terms with it, while at the same time planning my escape. I write about the coming of spring, feeling unmotivated, personality types and having fun with my camera.
It is available to purchase through my Etsy shop. If you would be interested in trading, please do not hesitate to ask. My email address is sometimesimdreamingAThotmail.co.uk. Alternatively, feel free to send me a message on here.
