a place for zinesters - writers and readers
Get Fit for the Pit #1 is finally available! Get Fit for the Pit is a compilation zine that focuses on health and fitness from a punk/activist perspective. The first issue includes 7 stories and 1 comic about shaking off the shackles of the lack of importance placed on health and fitness in the punk scene and working with our bodies to become healthier.
Some of the writers include: Ramsey from List zine, Maranda from Telegram Ma'am, Chris from Kissoff, Nicole from Introvert, Korinna from Roots of Hope as well as others. Topics range from Roller Derby to Running to Rugby and more!
The zine is 1/2 size and 20 pgs. $2 in person. $2 + 2 stamps by mail. Pay Pal orders $2.50 US or $3 international. Pay Pal is email@example.com. When ordering PLEASE state what zine you are purchasing. I have written several that are still in print. :)
It will be available in my distro, Click Clack Distro, soon but unless you are ordering other zines then direct Pay Pal or mail is more cost effective!

This is my first attempt at the 24 hour zine thing and I had a ball making it. It’s called “An Exploration” and is all about my journey from abusive sex to bad sex to blah sex to finally discovering myself fully through bdsm. There are some TRIGGER WARNINGS for this issue for sexual assault and graphic depictions of bondage and masochism.
Message me for trades!
Zero Hour is unlike the other issues of Printaissance in some very key ways, while remaining true to some of the style and format that has made Printaissance so popular among ones of readers. A very random mix of rants, musings, poems, Dr. Who trivia/game and oh so much more that all came together in under 24 to meet the deadline for the 24hr. Zine Thing 2011.
Just like all Printaissance issues there is a two page ‘centerfold’, this one contains a timeline of the construction of the zine itself. Overall, it is a very eclectic sort of issue. Both personal and political. Poetic and playful.
Zero Hour (24 Quarter-Sized Pages / Available for Trade)
'Shape & Situate: Posters of Inspirational European Women' is a zine of posters made by artists and DIY creative folk within Europe, each poster highlighting the (often hidden) history and lives of radical inspirational women and collectives from Europe, as a way of connecting us with the past, the present, and to help us to make sure that there will be a future which contains such creative and pioneering female action and activity. The zine aims to activate feminist cultural memory, to inspire in the present and to visually bring women’s social and political history to life.
