a place for zinesters - writers and readers

My library wants to start a zine collection

A few weeks ago I got in touch with one of my librarians, with whom I share an interest in zines. She wants to start a collection of zines for our library, and I want to help. Does anyone have ideas on how to help her do that?

The archives and contacts in the zinelibrarians egroup are a good place to start looking: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/zinelibrarians/

& i'm sure there are a bunch of people here who can help too (maybe hanging out in the Zine Librarians group?).

I am in a similar boat. I live in Arkansas and to the best of my knowledge there isn't a single zine library anywhere in the state. Gonna see what I can do about that! :] Best wishes to you!
