We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Hi folks!

I manage the education department for a contemporary art museum and I want to use a mimeograph machine for a few workshops. These are in connection with an exhibition that addresses beat generation publishing parties when folks would use mimeographs to print their lit. I found a couple of working machines on ebay, but can I find ink and paper anywhere??

Thank you!

Wow, that takes me back!  I haven't seen a mimeograph since high school and I graduated in 1973.  Those are real antiques.  I even had to clean the stencils as a sophomore. Yucky job.  Great smelling inks though!

I did find one place that sells mimeograph ink by googling, I'm sure there are others.

Try googling 'mimeograph ink supplies'

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think this is a viable lead!

The old guy who runs repeat-otype is AWESOME! He will hang on the phone with you and troubleshoot machines, give you advice, etc. Totally sweet, old-school New Jersey guy.

His name is Fred Keen and he is AMAZING!! Thank you!
