We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

I'm in the exploratory phase of writing a paper on Indigenous ecological activism and how such activism incorporates native worldviews and spiritual perspectives. I am mostly looking at North and South America, but material relating to other areas could be helpful as well. Spanish or English are okay.

Any leads?

I did a search of the Columbia Libraries catalog, which includes Barnard's zine collection:

<"indians of north america" zines> and got three results:

There could be others, but it's hard to identify them because they may have been described by tribe, just called Indians, etc.

You might want to get in touch with Joseph Delgado, an ex-WMZ member.   He did the zines Polvo & Extinctions, poetry with a Native American/Latino focus.  Randy Spaghetti, a WMZ member, reviewed them in his zine review blog, SDD Blogspot.  His profile'll take you right to it and you can search there.

Thanks both of you, have started looking into these. Best,

Zeraph
