hmm.. question!

here's a little scenario:
so, i like this girl and have written something about her that i want to include in my newest issue. i know for a fact that she will want to read the zine. i also really want her to read the zine, so she can see "what i do." however, i don't necessarily want her reading what i wrote about her. i'd really love to include this piece in my zine, so how do i go about doing this without censoring myself?

i was thinking of just leaving it... and i guess she can figure stuff out from there. but i'd rather not. anyone have ideas?

Depending on which piece I use, there are some pretty obvious details in it. I'll either use a nickname, or just have her read it as is. It can't be too bad ;)

wow thats so brave. i'd procrastinate and give her the next issue. im a coward. i should really work on that. I think im scared of actually having power in the world. im scared of the difference or non-difference it might make.

it is nearly impossible for her not to know i have a new issue, 'cus i see her every day and we hang out a lotttt. i don't really think it's brave of me, i guess it just needs to be said and it's a matter of choosing how it needs to be said. i actually just read this line that made me happy, "nothing ventured, nothing gained."

don't be scared of your power. embrace it. show it off!

i definitely think i'm going to print the story, and have her read it.

if you like this person...the only question is variable levels of risk.

if you're compatible and your zine craft charms your would-be date then you should DEFINITELY write a story about them. nothing could be better or more flattering! if it don't work out, you'll forget about it eventually.

I write really personal comics, but I know that by the time anyone ever gets around to showing them them, I would have stopped caring about the situation.
