I received this email after my zine was featured in a german design magazine, this german student is doing a project about independent publishing, and she would like people to add details of their zines (in English or German) to her database
(Body of the email)
Dear Editor
please keep in mind the Dealine for the book-project about
Magazines and Artzines I am working on. You still can register your
Magazines/Distros/Stores/Festivals until the 15th of November.
The circulation of the Magazines/Artzines/Fanzines should be
between 50 and 1500 copies. I need your help in order to make
this project as multilateral and complete as possible. In the
meanwhile, please take a look on the website; you'll find there
the Artzines/Magazines and Distros registred up to now.
It would be great if you'd fill the attached questionaire
(you'll find here also a short description of the project) and send it
back; please also send one – the latest – or more back covers of
your magazine in high-resolution (300 dpi). Topic of the magazines
should be: drawing, comic, painting, photography, graphic-design,
graffiti/street art, subculture, pop-culture...
You can register more than one magazine, of course.
And spread the word!
You'll find the questionaire an the project description also
on the webseite:
www.alltheseprojects.rammbock.com
Kindest regards,
Calin
p.s. IMPORTANT: please register a magazine even if it's
no longer published!
