We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Do any of you give your zines out for free, or can think of any resources? I live in Chicago, for the record, if you can think of any libraries or anything that carry zines. I have absolutely no money right now, but I need inspiration... I always mark down the people who mailed me a zine so when I do get one written, I can send one back... I'm just really stuck in the mud right now.

Awesome! Thanks!
Zinemonger is a distro that only deals with free zines. It's based in the UK though.

And I want to see that zine when you get around to it!
I give out my mini-zines for free with trades, because they only cost 5p to print each one, and I figure it makes the package a little more special when you get freebies with it. :)

Also, Zinemonger is a great little resource.

you can sometimes access zines for free online.

i've got three issues of my zine available for free here: http://issuu.com/shotgunseamstress.

there's also QZAP the queer zine archive where you can download queer zines for free. if you google search zine archives, you might find more like this.
