a place for zinesters - writers and readers

I'm looking for someone(s) to write about their experiences using etsy to sell zines for the next Zine World. Anyone game?

I etsy, but I'm pretty hopeless at it. I can give you a very time poor artist's view of it if you would like :)

Is there a submission deadline? I've been on Etsy for a couple years, and I have plenty I'd like to say about it, so perhaps I could write something. My email address is schoolformaps@gmail.com if you wanna send me more info, and my Etsy shop is http://schoolformaps.etsy.com, just in case you're curious.
Hey Jerianne, I have a short bit about Etsy that I have written for the new SSR. How long does it need to be? I could give you what I have already. I owe you an e-mail anyway so I talk about it there.
though i have sold a bunch of zines through etsy, i have to say it's pretty cost prohibitive if you're only selling 1-2 at a time. people end up paying more to cover fees and postage than the zine. etsy's really only cost effective if you're doing larger ticket items and originals. sadface.

still, i have been exposed to a lot of great people and have had some great repeat business from several folks who are awesome zine supporters. =) the key is just to sell in sets, i think.
