Colostomy bag zines??

A friend of mine has a colostomy bag. She's not really into zines, but she does want to start trying to raise awareness about colostomy bags, and one of the ways i suggested she could do this was by making a zine.

 

I was just wondering- is anyone aware of any zines that mention colostomy bags? I think it would be interesting to show her an example..

No, but that's an awesome idea. My best friend in high school had an ostomy bag. There's no better time than the present to create awareness for it. :)

Yeah, i think i will suggest to her that she just goes for it! It's just because she doesn't really know about zines it would have been good to show her something for "inspiration".. ah well! Thanks for your input, and the link <3

I feel awkward plugging my own zine, but I've written about having Crohn's Disease in the three issues of my zine called About My Disappearance. I don't have a colostomy bag, but I do have digestive issues. I could send you or her some copies if you'd like
