Calgary Zine Fair: Vendor Invitation

*Dear Zine Lovers, Friends and Flirts,**The Zine Tree Collective invites you to participate in the first annual Calgary Zine Fair!*

*12 noon to 5 pm Saturday December 18th, 2010*

*Old Y Centre (223 12 ave SW) in Calgary Alberta.*

We would love it if you could set up a table with some of your zines or
zines from your communities.

This zine fair will really emphasize the "fair" with lots of trading and
exchanging of zines etc., small and friendly with $0 - $25 sliding scale for
tabling space.

Billeting will be provided for out of town participants.  If you are unable
to come but would still like to have your zines tabled at this event, please
let us know, as we will have consignment available and we can receive things
by canada post etc..

We are also looking for zine related workshop facilitators, so if you have an idea for a workshopyou could lead, or a request for a workshop you really want, please let us know.

So far some of our plans for the first annual zine fair include:
- A mini-zine making station!
- The launch of the 24 Owl Zine, produced at 24 hr Zine Challenge!
- A special appearance of the Zine Tree Collective Library!
- Write-a-zine-review station!
- Participatory Projector Performance Zine!
- Burrito Booth!

- and more!

Not that I'll be able to make it, but I think it's really awesome that you're putting on a zine fair in Calgary!

Also, I think a burrito booth should be at all zine fairs.

we really need people to get involved if this is gonna be a success! if anyone is interested in having your zines tabled at this event, get in touch! we will be doing a consignment table and it will be a great way to get your zines out there!
