I'm doing a 50 book challenge, and while I have a queue of books to read next, I want something fun and easy to read.

I figure that there must be some lit-nerds amongst you lot. What was the last really awesome thing you read?

nancy drew books are both amazing and hilarious. ive been (re)reading both them and the babysitters club series with the 7 year old i hang out with.

while i was in oz, i picked up a yaf novel called clara in washington by penny tangey -- which was a super quick read. i also read just kids by patti smith and i had to force myself to put it down for days at a time because i was enjoying it so much. again, quick read. im just about to start the word for world is forest by ursula k. le guin!
