I invite all fellow zine publishers to donate a couple zines to the the
East Village Inky Al Fresco Zine Library project I'm staging as part of
this year's Figment Festival on Governor's Island.
But hop to it! Because the Festival takes place June 11 - 13!

Because this is an all ages event, no explicit sexual material or
violent imagery will be displayed. Naked ladies are okay, but not if
they're cutting off someone's head while pleasuring themselves w/
Please include your email address with all materials sent, so I can
pass along any feedback that may of interest. Materials cannot be
returned. Instead, they will be donated to either the Barnard Zine
Collection, or the ABC No Rio Zine Library. If your zines are in my
personal collection, they may well wind up on Governor's Island, but
you can give yourself that extra layer of moisture-absorbing security
and confidence by sending a duplicate.
Please forward this message to your zine publishing friends!
Here's more info about the festival:
The East Village Inky Al Fresco Zine Library is an open air
non-circulating collection of self-published, small circulation 'zines,
which the public is invited to browse to its heart content. Al Fresco
Zine Librarian Ayun Halliday (Chief Primatologist and Sole Employee of
the long running East Village Inky zine) will be at the information
desk to answer any questions you may have, and dispense encouragement
and advice with regard to starting your own zine in the near future. In
lieu of checking out library materials, you are welcome to record your
impressions of particular titles in our guest log. We will forward your
comments to the creators, if you desire. For more information, please
direct all correspondence to our reference desk: Ayun@AyunHalliday.com
