a place for zinesters - writers and readers
The best zines I ever did see were plainly splotched out of ketchup packets onto cocktail napkins then crudely photocopied into existence,
But for those who lack that electricicity, knowing lots about art design / production is a definite bonus.
How does everyone design, edit and compose their zines?
Me personally, I sketch a lot with pencils, then trace with markers / gel pens, then erase the pencil lines.
I like Gimp as far as computer programs go, cuz its free, and I cherry-pick the fonts which I know are good.
