Anyone know ASL?

Hey there! I just read a really great zine called "Deafula", which is all about being deaf. I want to do a video review of it, but want to have someone sign as I speak. Anyone here know sign language? Or want to get me in touch with someone who does? There were people signing at a reading in Chicago, anyone know how to get me in touch with them?

Billy - I know a woman who is an AMAZING ASL interpreter. We talk on Twitter. She signed most all of the Reason Rally in DC back in March, including an entire comedy set by Tim Minchin.

The ASL interpreters at Chicago Zine Fest are hired by Columbia College for the event. As far as I know, none of the organizers have contact info for them directly.

oh hey! i just saw this - thanks so much for the kind words! erin h had a great suggestion of adding captions - this would probably be easiest to pull off (i know youtube let's you pretty easily add subtitles to your videos). i love hearing that people liked my zine and can't wait to see the review :D
