Angry Carrot and Diabolical Pea: Year 1 and Year 2 --quarter sized minicomic compilations of stuff that used to be webcomics.

Sad Robots #1,which is the beginning of a trilogy about what happens after the inevitable robot apocalypse of the future. We working on #2 now. All done in Japanese calligraphy ink, which I quite like using.

Revelations: Chapters 1-11-- Exactly what it says. The book of the Bible, all drawn exactly (almost) as it is written with kawaii-ness gone all wrong and awesome. Fancy printing! Manga sized.

Skeletons in Armor- Pen and ink drawings of skeletons. Doing stuff. Like being chefs and going to the prom. And wearing a bear suit.

Brain Drawings #1- a sketchbook zine. Contains Skelletor AND Mecha-Godzilla.

Jesus Crispies #1- pretty short (The first zine I ever did.) A atheist zine with some perzine stuff about growing up Southern Baptist. (Spoiler Alert- I didn't enjoy the church that much.)

Allergies: How to Deal- An allergy self-care zine.

Squatthrust- A perzine made from the pages of my ongoing journal. Boring day to day details filled with drawings of weird creatures, comics, doodles and designs. I just did a relaunch of it with issue 2 (44 pages) about the theme of becoming (a teacher, parent, homeowner). The next issue being worked on now is about walking. I am still writing daily crap but I am including bigger articles about walking (politics of our town and attitudes toward pedestrians and cyclists, as well as philosophical musings about the practice of walking vs. cars. More details over at:

Hello! I make single issue zines, my previous ones being The Non-Edible Publication (which was cookie recipes and musings on star wars), What It Was Like To Work In A Nursing Home (detailing my previous experiences as a carer in nursing homes) and Kenneth (a perzine). Right now I'm creating a zine about my experience with high school politics and an extended version of the Non-Edible (a greater collection of my recipes). But yeah, those are my zines. P.S. I omitted the ones that I now cringe at.

Hey, I produce a French zine called Park It Up Your Arse... it's about riot grrrl, punk, feminism, sex, music, art, gender issues and grrrl creativity in the underground French music scene. I also run Makin' Bombs Distro (DIY), which specialises in zines about all the above and more, my main aim being to promote women in the DIY underground music scene.
Why Riot Grrrl? well, it never really crossed the English channel, and it is quite difficult to find girl centered concerts, bands, radio shows... Park It Up Yer Arse was born from this frustration, as was Makin Bombs a year later, mainly to promote all the great french (but not only) grrrl zinesters I have met along the way. Makin' Bombs Distro is open to trades with zinesters and distros of all horizons and languages, so you don't have to be a girl/woman, write exclusively about feminism to exchange nor produce a zine in French, obviously. I'm looking forward to hearing from other zinesters and distro, I'm sort of running dry at the moment.

Currently, I make "and per se and." With the first two issues it could be categorized as an 'art' zine, but I have plans for later issues being reference and non-fiction. Whatever I'm most interested in at the moment gets compiled into "and per se and." Typography, scientific graphs, cloud identification...

Also, I'm Vanessa.

I just did a one-shot (actually, a three-shot. I made extra's) for a friend. I included a mix cd with it. This one is done all on computer and I printed the cover on a paper grocery bag. I used my inkjet for the cover page and it turned out pretty cool...it looks screenprinted. It's called "the uft". It was the art-school punk band at the college I attended and I've always liked the name. It has a drawering my daughter did, a journal entry, and some ministry/non-profit groups that I think are doing amazing things that I think need support, and some silly, random things.
I"m also doing an art/photography/poetry one at church called "Of Coffee and Community". We have a corner of the worship space given over to paintings and photo's and I thought having a hard copy of peoples art and poetry available for folks to take home would be fun to take home.

I grew up Southern Baptist as well...I totally agree with you on that, and it's a wonder I'm not an atheist.

I'm working on ABSENT PRESENT - which explores my research tangents (philosophy, the unconscious, critical theory, anti-moderntity, bygone eras, anarchism, feminism, sexuality, nihilism, criminology, deviancy, mental health), my personal reflections, reviews and short stories - with an emphasis on these themes.

I'm also starting a perzine called CAT'S TEETH which will take fragments from my huge collection of diaries, focusing alot on relationships, sex, bisexuality, monogamy and non-monogamy, anxieties and fantasies, taboo, what it means to expose your real self, and if we can ever truly get inside anyone. Drawings and scribbles and trying to make sense of life.
