10th Portland Zine Symposium August 28-29, 2010!

we just got the dates confirmed today! It's not going to be at the ballroom like past years, but at the Portland State Univeristy Gymnasium instead. Here's all the info you many need:

10th Portland Zine Symposium
August 28-29, 2010!

The Portland Zine Symposium includes workshops, panels, discussions, and raffles. As well as tables upon tables of creative folks trading, buying and selling zines. Admission is free.

The Portland Zine Symposium aims to create greater communication and community between diverse creators of independent media and art. This fun and free event helps people promote their work and to share skills and information related to zines and zine culture. Through workshops, panels and discussions, Portland Zine Symposium explores the role and effect of all types of zines.

There will be also be social activities in the evenings during the PZS, more on those as they develop.

I'm flying back to europe on august 30th.
It was on my plan to take the empire builder to hit the +50 hours train ride but to go and come back by plane is 60€/$100 cheaper so... I guess I'll be there. (I'm looking for a place to put my sleeping bag on August 27th & 28th night)

Super psyched! My boyfriend & I were planning to do a grand Pacific NW tour this summer anyway, and this is 2 days after my birthday, so I'm totally gonna be there. I won't be tabling, but I'm pumped nevertheless!
