Wollongong City Gallery is holding its second annual zine fair!
Sunday 5 April from 12 until 4 with a panel and show afterwards.
This year we also have a bunch of workshops and discussions:
Comic Workshop with Leigh Rigozzi
Graphic Poetry, Emerging Comic Forms & Hybrid Zines: discussion with Tamryn Bennett
Carbon Copy - alternative methods of printing workshop with Regina Walter
I did it my way: a panel discussion on DIY publishing with Pam Brown, Raquel Ormella, Leigh Rigozzi, chaired by Clementina Velasco
and exhibitions:
MULTIPLICITY: Prints and Multiples from the collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art and the University of Wollongong
Display of Zines, Artist Books & Ephemera from the collection of Glenn Barkley, Museum Of Contemporary Art Curator
When the zine fair is over we will have a show with performances by awesome local bands The Effing Seas and Mother & Son.
Tables are free but we would like zinesters to donate one zine to our zine reading space. To book a table email wcgzinefair@gmail.com and tell us your name and table preference (half/whole). If you don't sell zines but want to sell art/craft/handmade/independent stuff, that is cool too.
For workshop bookings please phone the Gallery on 02 4228 7500 or email vvidulich@wollongong.nsw.gov.au
More detailed info coming soon.
