Event Description

Woozy fanzine ran from 1992 to 2001 and encompassed 22 issues in a variety of formats from mini zines to books as well as a tape and a cd. Bringing together a variety of DIY currents in music, art, comics and politics, Woozy was a mainstay of the Melbourne zine scene involving over 100 contributors with the majority of issues partially or wholly laid out by hand. More than 20 launches and benefits were also organised by the co-editors Iain McIntyre and Laura MacFarlane who also ran Choozy which distributed a number of zines and musical works in the 90's.
