Event Description

D.I.Y. Fest 2009 has entered the planning stages! The fest will be held on May 9, 2009 at 2640 St. Paul St. The 2640 collective has once again been kind enough to donate their space for D.I.Y. Fest.

If you are interested in teaching a workshop, tabling or volunteering your time to help with setup/breakdown and clean up, please email us at diyfest@gmail.com.

What is a D.I.Y. Fest?

D.I.Y. Fest (Do It Yourself Festival) is a one day event held annually in Baltimore City. The DIY Fest has taken place for 2 consecutive years, and will happen again sometime in the year 2009. The DIY Fest is a day filled with workshops giving you the opportunity to learn a new skill or teach others a skill that you know.

Every year's festival provides self sufficient, low-budget strategies for making stuff and doing things. Learning a new skill can be costly, but the DIY Fest is a free event.
