DESCRIPTION:We are a Williamsburg-based interdisciplinary arts group w
 ho publish a bimonthly zine called Birdsong. We set ourselves apart fr
 om the rest in the diversity of our members--we are DIY, queer, antira
 cist, feminist nerds and former fat kids who love sharing stories (and
  pie).\n\nThe Birdsong Collective, a Williamsburg-based arts collectiv
 e, will hold a reading and zine release party to celebrate the latest 
 installment of its bimonthly publication Birdsong on Friday, February 
 19th at 8:30 P.M. In keeping with the collective’s commitment to fos
 tering a multimedia environment, the reading will also feature the mus
 ic of PAPS, a gritty folk duo. The evening will be hosted by Tommy Pic
 o, with guest reader Jennifer Michael Hecht, author of Doubt: A Histor
