We are a Williamsburg-based interdisciplinary arts group who publish a bimonthly zine called Birdsong. We set ourselves apart from the rest in the diversity of our members--we are DIY, queer, antiracist, feminist nerds and former fat kids who love sharing stories (and pie).
The Birdsong Collective, a Williamsburg-based arts collective, will hold a reading and zine release party to celebrate the latest installment of its bimonthly publication Birdsong on Friday, February 19th at 8:30 P.M. In keeping with the collective’s commitment to fostering a multimedia environment, the reading will also feature the music of PAPS, a gritty folk duo. The evening will be hosted by Tommy Pico, with guest reader Jennifer Michael Hecht, author of Doubt: A History. At 3rd Ward’s newest location, 573 Metropolitan at Lorimer. Free. There Will Be Wine.
