Event Description

The Birdsong Collective, a Williamsburg-based arts collective, will
hold a reading and zine release party to celebrate the thirteenth
installment of its quarterly publication birdsong on Saturday, August
21st at 6:30 pm. In keeping with the collective’s commitment to
fostering a multimedia environment, the reading will also feature the
music of PAPS, a gritty, whiskey-folk duo. The evening will be hosted
by Tommy Pico, with guest reader Brando Skyhorse, author of The
Madonnas of Echo Park. At Rose Live Music, 345 Grand Street (b/w Marcy
and Havemeyer Streets). Free.
